Abstract

This study describes the results of synthesizing MIL-100(Fe) materials by hydrothermal method. The results show that the material has an octahedral structure, with a large BET surface area (1820 m2/g). The synthesized materials were capable of adsorption more than 53 % of NOx gas and over 84 % of acetone vapor by mass. The crystalline structure and octahedral shape of material were not changed after adsorption. The investigation of re-adsorption show that the material retains its adsorption capacity after many uses.
