Hội Khoa học, Công nghệ xúc tác và hấp phụ Việt Nam là tổ chức xã hội - nghề nghiệp, tổ chức và hoạt động theo Điều lệ của Hội Khoa học, Công nghệ xúc tác và hấp phụ Việt Nam được Bộ trưởng Bộ Nội vụ phê duyệt, tuân thủ quy định của pháp luật và chịu sự quản lý nhà nước của Bộ Công Thương và các bộ, ngành khác có liên quan đến phạm vi, lĩnh vực hoạt động của Hội.
Hội Khoa học, Công nghệ xúc tác và hấp phụ Việt Nam có tư cách pháp nhân, con dấu và tài khoản riêng, tự lo kinh phí, trụ sở và phương tiện hoạt động.
