Treatment of soil and sediment contaminated with toxic chemicals 2,4-D, 2,4,5-T and dioxin in Vietnam has attracted much attention from scientists in Vietnam and around the world. Heat technology combined with pressure has been researched for waste treatment. This article presents the results of research on 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T treatment in Đ04 soil at Bien Hoa airport under different conditions of catalyst type, temperature, catalyst dosage and reaction time. Finally, this study has proposed a process for treating contaminated soil at Bien Hoa airport using heat technology combined with pressure using catalysts at a scale of 200 g/batch. Test results of treating soil contaminated with Đ04 according to the proposed technological process and applying the parameters show that the treatment efficiency of 2,4-D reached 100 %, the treatment efficiency of 2,4,5-T reached 100 % and dioxin treatment efficiency reached 98,92 %.
